Here you find a collection of mountain bike tours, ready to be downloaded into your GPS to experience great fun and discover new places. Moreover, this site shall be used as a guide for all mountain bikers who are planning Transalpine tours and are seeking for help when planning such trips.

About my tracks

I usually plan my routes first on paper and then create them on digital maps using mapping programs such as OziExplorer, CompeGPS or MapSource (the mapping program from Garmin). Once a track is created, downloaded to the GPS, one can head out and navigate it.

Tools such as TCX Converter, G7toWin, GPS Babel, or the website GPSies, are useful to convert any GPS track into most of the formats supported by various mapping programs (GPX, PLT, TRK, etc) and GPS devices (GPX, TCX, etc).
